Blogger Jessica Roberts just shared a too-cute-for-words pregnancy announcement. But that's no surprise, considering this is her seventh baby!
Jessica Roberts is expecting her seventh baby—and such a monumental pregnancy deserves a seriously epic reveal. Luckily, Roberts totally nailed it with her viral announcement.
"Surprise!! Our hands, hearts, home, and vehicle are going to be a little more full next February We experienced a major scare 2 weeks ago so I am feeling extra grateful to be able to share this news," Roberts wrote.
She shared more about the scare on her blog: "On the Fourth of July, I was lighting some sparklers and snakes for my kids when my worst nightmare (and actually the exact nightmare that I had when I was sleeping the night before) happened and I suddenly lost a lot of blood," Roberts wrote in a blog post announcing her pregnancy. "I immediately 'knew' that I was having a miscarriage, but since I was only 8 weeks along, I knew there was nothing they could do for me at the hospital so I decided to wait until the next morning to call the doctor’s office. I was given the choice to go to the hospital for an ultrasound (and be charged hundreds for an ER visit) or I could get a blood test that day and then another test 2 days later to see if my levels were rising or falling."
That experience had to have been terrifying—but thankfully, Roberts learned her baby was doing just fine. And teh experience makes her adorable, gold balloon-filled pregnancy reveal even more joyful, though.
Still, Roberts had one more concern when announcing her pregnancy—how others would respond to the news that she's expecting her seventh baby. We get it—the Internet can be a ruthless place—but we wish she didn’t have to defend her big, beautiful brood.
"I know there are many people who think we are crazy (and they're probably right!) but I would kindly ask that if you don't have anything kind to say, please don't comment!" she wrote on Instagram. "Every child is a blessing, whether the 1st or the 7th."
Congrats, mama, on your big—and soon to be bigger—family!
